Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Therapist

Talia has been working as a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) in Maryland since 2011 and working for nonprofits and private practices in the social work field since 2006. She has been a Maryland Board of Social Work approved clinical supervisor for 8 years and very much enjoys educating and supporting new therapists as they transition into becoming more experienced clinicians.

Talia founded a nonprofit domestic violence organization and is now the executive director, Opening New Doors Foundation Inc. She took this organization from being a tiny thought in her mind in 2016 through a drastic transformation. In July of 2020 (during the pandemic) she was able to open a transitional housing program for women and children fleeing abuse.

As a survivor of abuse who has transitioned to thriving, she has overcome an immense number of obstacles and is today fully content with her successes as a seasoned therapist. She had worked in a group practice that specialized in first responders, medical and mental health professionals and has helped many professionals in these front line intense positions during the pandemic.
